As a key member of the 1981 Wagner College Baseball Team, Leo played a vital role in one of the program’s most memorable seasons, helping pitch the Seahawks toward a coveted NCAA playoff bid—a feat highlighted by a crucial regular-season save against NY Tech that he proudly remembered throughout his life. Teammates fondly recalled him as the heartbeat of the locker room, famous for keeping spirits high during long bus rides with his spot-on Rodney Dangerfield impressions.
