A Life That Inspired a 50-Year Business Legacy
Greg was not only a gifted stylist and manager, but also the designated successor intended to carry on the family legacy built by his mother, Penny Rushing.
In a heartfelt announcement regarding the upcoming closure of VICI Beauty School and VICI Capilli Salon after more than 50 years of operation, Penny Rushing paid tribute to her son’s central role in their life’s work:

To honor Greg’s impact and support current students through their graduation requirements, VICI Beauty School and VICI Capilli Salon will remain open through approximately October 2026 before officially closing their doors.
